Lily Allen has a new blog – “It’s not alright” where she writes about the evils of pirating music, but apparently she didn’t get the memo about the evils of plagiarizing other peoples writing. Her post about 50 cent is taken word for word from a techdirt article. Irony overflow. (via reddit + Torrent Freak)

Not only that, but it was also revealed shortly after her “it’s not alright” rant that she had mixtapes on her website lilyallenmusic.com that featured songs from artists such as Jay-Z, the Kinks, and many others. In other words, she had been using other artists’ songs without permission. After this was pointed out, she has since removed the mixtapes in question. I thought it was funny though how much of a hypocrite she is.
